Lazard Asset Management today announced that after 25 years, spanning multiple leadership roles at Lazard Asset Management, Nathan Paul will step down from his position as Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2026.
Looking ahead, we are pleased to share that Rosalie Berman has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Lazard Asset Management, effective January 1, 2026. In this role, she will partner closely with business leaders to advance the firm’s strategic vision and lead product innovation and strategy. She will also oversee the global operations and day‑to‑day activities of the firm, and partner closely with technology to ensure we have enterprise‑wide resources to deliver high‑quality outcomes for our clients and the firm. Rosalie will focus on enhancing productivity, streamlining processes, and fostering innovation—including a strategic effort to leverage AI to accelerate our business.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Rosalie has a strong track record of setting strategic priorities and mobilizing teams and resources to achieve them effectively. She brings deep expertise in leading complex business transformations and advancing operational excellence, which positions her well to bring the business forward.
